I saw a book filled with this kind of photographs a few days ago.
There are a lot of Japanese who wear clothes like this and I think it looks great!

A very nice photo!

By the way, take a look at the shoes in the back as well ;)

Would that book happen to be FRUiTS? Well, there are a good few handfuls of japanese kids who dress as such. Most use it as escapism. I know I do. The shoes were surprisingly cheap. [well, in comparison to most other things in toukyou]. Thank you so much for your comment.

Yes, I think it was Fruits (with a guy dressed in blue and with yellow hair on the cover?)

Fruits is a pain to get ahold of in Japan for some reason... there are many magazine issues out. Japanese street fashion is one of my obsessions. Look up EGL lolita. Let me know what you think. ^_~

Wow!
Some of these girls are dressing WAY over the top. But some look absolutely fabulous!
I don`t think I would have the guts to dress like that. But somehow I'm always attracted to goth- and Japanese girl ;)
Too bad I don't know any :(

Do you see a lot of people like this on the streets in Japan? Or did they have to look everywhere to get enough pictures for books like Fruits?

I really want to visit Japan someday... hope I'll ever go there :fingerscrossed:

You have to know where to go. You can see people dressed as such in towns, but mainly the most alternative dressed people you run into are on trains, in harajuku (mostly), sometimes Shinjuku and shibuya. When you know where to look, finding enough pictures for a magazine like FRUiTS is pretty simple. ^_~;
